This will include guiding positions, dockhands, grounds keepers and housekeepers/servers just to name a few. This is a 10-week summer operation lasting from May 21st to July 29th, 2019. Salary starts at $2800.00 per month, PLUS tips, (usually between $1500 and $2300 for the term of employment) with $295.00 deduction per month for room & board. Housing and meals are provided.     Requirements and Qualifications: Previous customer service, tourism experience would be considered an asset.     The Kal Tire Mining Tire Group has been servicing mine sites since 1972 where we quickly established a reputation for reliability, innovation and outstanding service. Our objective remains simple: to deliver services and products of measurable value to our customers. Detour Lake mine site is located approximately 185 kilometers northeast from the town of Cochrane, Ontario. It is a year round open pit operation, with camp accommodations provided. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining the accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll for the mine site or branch location.   CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the manager in preparing the monthly Kal Tire Health and Safety reporting documents in a timely manner. Understand the customer specific, and Kal Tire Health and Safety policies, standards, and culture and role models the expected behaviors at all times. Ensure the Site Manager and others as applicable are aware of the training and security passes required of team members assisting with site coverage, and forwards site specific training documents to the Site Manager in a timely manner. Assist the Site Manager with providing the customer with accurate reporting of inventory, tire efficiency and safety statistics in a timely and organized manner. Follow up on purchase orders, errors and problems regarding product or service supplied or requested in a timely manner, and ensure billing is done promptly to ensure the timely recovery of accounts receivable. Ensure payroll is accurately recorded and on time in the PeopleSoft payroll system. Understand the procurement policies and procedures of the customer and ensure the billing is in compliance with standards at all times.   EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE High School Diploma plus office administration training. Previous administration experience preferably in the tire, mining and / or manufacturing industries.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer experience particularly with the use of spreadsheets. Ability to present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets. Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment to identify and resolve problems, under pressure. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets. Job Description: Paragon Security is looking to hire Casual/On-Call Security Officers to work at one of their sites in the Kapuskasing Ontario Area. These individual will be responsible for assisting with the overall security of customers, employees and property. The Security Officer must instil a strong sense of safety to all customers and employees of the Client’s. The Security Officer understands his/her role as brand ambassador and provides positive brand experiences to all the employees as well as to the Client’s customers. Requirements and Qualifications: The successful candidate:  Have a Grade 12 or equivalent and possess a valid Security Officer License.  Criminal record background check will be required.  Prior security experience in an industrial setting.  Be able to work with computers.  Be able to implement rules and regulations of the workplace. Have good customer service skills and be able to work well with all levels of the enterprise in a fast pace environment.  Be able to work comfortably in both official languages.  The successful candidate will also have a valid driver’s license, First Aid and CPR.
