Norm is a member of the Moose Cree First Nation appointed Board of Director of the Moose Cree Group of Companies Limited Partnership by Chief and Council. He is an educator at heart, an engaging teacher facilitator, inspiring speaker and a compassionate mentor. His work enables him to pursue his life’s mission – “to encourage the heart of others to soar to new heights”. His life experiences are varied from being a teacher, school vice principal, education director and college dean, to being a First Nations Policy Advisor, Tribal Chairman, member of Council, Chief as well as a business owner. He is currently semi retired active in volunteering in various capacities in the community and taking on special projects as well as serving as a minister at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Moose Factory and Church of the Apostles in Moosonee, Ontario. Norm was born and raised in Moose Factory where he resides with his wife Jean.
Pauline Rickard, Moose Factory, ON – Board Member
Pauline’s true passion lies in advocating for the people of Moose Cree First Nations and has held many significant roles that have bettered the community and people. Pauline was born and raised in Moose Factory and is currently completing her Indigenous Studies Program through Laurentian University in Moose Factory. Pauline currently sits as councillor for Moose Cree First Nations and has been an active council member since 2006. Pauline’s previous board history includes Board Director for Moose Cree Group of Companies Limited Partnership and Moose Factory Academy of Christian Education, Finance and Administration, Vice Chair of MCFN, as well as Council Representative for the Moose Factory Police Council.
